This fabulous song from the stage musical Carousel is a favourite with British fans at gigs because of its status as a football anthem. I have always loved the song because of its inspirational message. Of course it has been "covered" hundreds of times by many famous muso's. We wanted to create a version that paid homage to its hymn like qualities and explored the song's philosophical journey while recognising the song's status as a pop song. (My allegiance to the Liverpool Football Club may have had something to do with the choice too!) - Alan
